The application of CMC in oilfield and textile

CMC can be used as adhesive, thickener, suspension agent, emulsifier, dispersant, stabilizer, sizing agent, etc.

Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is the largest yield of cellulose ether, the most widely used, the most convenient product, commonly known as "industrial MSG".

1, CMCused for oil drilling, digging Wells and other engineering

(1) The mud containing CMC has good stability and can make the borehole wall form a thin and strong filter cake with low permeability. Even if the temperature is above 150℃, the water loss can still be reduced.

(2) After adding CMC in the mud, the drilling machine can get low initial cutting force, so that the mud is easy to release the gas wrapped in it, and the debris is quickly abandoned in the mud pit.

(3) Drilling mud, like other suspended dispersions, has a certain existence period. The addition of CMC can make it stable and prolong the existence period.

④ The mud containing CMC is rarely affected by mold, so there is no need to maintain a high PH value or use preservatives.

Containing CMC as drilling mud cleaning fluid treatment agent, can resist the pollution of various soluble salts.

2, CMC used for textile, printing and dyeing industry

Textile industry will be CMC as sizing agent, used for cotton, silk wool, chemical fiber, blended yarn sizing.

3, CMC used for paper industry

CMC can be used as paper smoothing agent and sizing agent in paper making industry. Adding CMC in the pulp can make the paper to enhance the tensile strength, increase the compressive cracking degree, increase the kneading.

4, CMC used for washing daily chemical

CMC can be used as dirt adsorbent when added to synthetic detergent. Daily chemicals such as toothpaste industry CMC glycerin aqueous solution used as toothpaste glue base; CMC aqueous solution is used for flotation after viscosing.

5, CMC used for the ceramic industry

Ceramic products manufacturing can do blank adhesive, plasticizer, glaze suspension agent, fixing agent and so on.

6. CMC used in construction industry

As water retaining agent and retarder of cement mortar, the mortar has pumpability. In the spread of mortar, gypsum, putty powder or other building materials as a binder, improve the application and extend the operating time. Use as paste ceramic tile, marble, plastic adornment, paste reinforce agent, still can reduce cement dosage.
